Teething can be a difficult time for baby and parents alike. The teething process often raises many questions and concerns for new parents. Oftentimes, the first question that is raised is “When should I expect my child to begin teething?” Ages will vary among babies, but on average, teeth begin to emerge when baby is between 4 and 7 months old. Typically, the first teeth to emerge from the gums are the two bottom front teeth, which will be followed shortly after by the two top front teeth. Given time, the side teeth and molars will come through until baby’s full set of teeth have emerged.
